    HelperOfTheBride.com - Planning A Wedding Made Easy

    helperofthebride

This is a young site that I think has a lot of potential. Essentially, it intends to let those who are about to get married have a smoother time arranging and organizing everything. Obviously, the expressions “have a smooth time” and “arrange a wedding” are a bit like sugar and spice, and that is what makes this site an interesting one if you ask me.

On the website you will be able to launch searches and read reviews about most anything that could keep you from tearing your hair out when organizing the wedding. These reviews come from publications and resources that women will be instantly familiar with.

The site is a bit bare as it stands right now, and while that does not get in the way of its usability it does get in the outlook a passer by might have. A makeover is needed, and some structural aspects such as the addition of clear categories are in order. Still, the site is useful and well-focused. With some work, it can start standing out a little.

    In their own words

“Mr. N and I got married in August 2009. Like many couples, our wedding planning involved endless hours of researching online on vendors and venues across many different wedding sites (forums, blogs, etc). Mr. N decided to create a website so we can search eveything in one place, and it made our planning so much more efficient.

After our wedding, we decided to launch HelperOfTheBride to share this useful tool. That's a lot more to do to make it even better. We hope to roll out more useful features soon.”

Why it might be a killer

Tying the knot is as complicated as it is memorable. A site like this makes it all more even and enjoyable.
