To the uninitiated, it may appear as that myface thing all the kids are using resulting in silly shenanigans and media fiasco because a “friend” bamboozled them into thinking they were something they weren’t. So social networking may not have the greatest rep, but there are a lot of other good implications that those who are new to the scene might find handy. Like bookmarking, which takes parts of networking and combines it with sharing your favorite web content. This is the idea behind Hautlinks, the latest in social networking/bookmarking. Hautlinks wants to be the social bookmarking site that everyone can use--even your grandma. The design is simple. Just register and share your links with the world or keep them private.
