At the Hall of Awesomeness for just $1 you can buy a star and dedicate that star to anyone who you believe is an awesome person it can be your boyfriend or a celebrity, in fact it can be anything, a place, a sports team anything you think is awesome. When you buy a star you post a photo of the person or thing that is awesome, you write a description and you can add a website link if you like. If you think someone is really awesome you can buy them a certificate. There are different prices for downloading the certificate, mailing it, etc.. Take a look at who has received stars and who has the biggest star. If more than one person buys a star for the same person that star gets bigger. Let the people you care about know how awesome you think they are at the Hall of Awesomeness.

The Hall of Awesomeness is a great concept but the site is lacking something. This site is very basic and would be better used as a Facebook application. The site may be better on its own if it included more information about the stars or if there was an area for comments or ranking. More Web 2.0 functions might make the site a bit more substantial.

The Hall of Awesomeness is very simple to use, anyone can participate and navigate the site. The Universe function is very cute; being able to actually locate the star you bought in the Hall of Awesomeness' universe is a fun way to visualize how many people are participating on the site.
