Glinkster.com is a gaming haven. It is a community which allows gamers to create a profile and communicate about games, and bookmark and tag the content they like. Users can learn more about the newest games and challenges other gamers have. Users can also check out what other users have tagged so they can be exposed to more and new content. Users are given a Glink score, which is based on how active they are on the site. The glink score gives a user credablity because his/her score is higher depending on how many other users bookmark or comment on their link. The glink scoring system is a bit complicated but it focuses on quality not just quantity keeping the best content on the site.

"Glinkster brings the social Web to the gaming community. What is 'the social Web'? The social Web puts users in control of content. Excellent social news sites like DIGG and social bookmarking sites like Del.icio.us popularized this concept and were the driving force behind much of 'Web 2.0'. Glinkster makes no bones about it - we love these sites, and we were influenced by them. We encourage people to use them. We wanted to bring these concepts specifically into the gaming community."
