In a nutshell, what GlanceMap does is to provide you with the wherewithal to look up people online, like somebody you saw in the street and didn’t have a chance to talk to and now regret it. These are termed “glances” in the site’s parlance, and they can be looked up via a provided GoogleMap.
The process is simplicity in itself: you type in the relevant keywords and submit the address in question, and then choose a date range from the provided drop down menu. Once this has been done, you simply click on the “Search for glances” button and see what comes up.
A glance can also be added in a similar fashion, so that other people will be able to benefit from your experiences like you can benefit from theirs.
GlanceMap is available for those who want to try it out at Glancemap.com, and it is in a very early stage. Although one can easily think of a lot of features that could be added and there are some bugs (a fact the programmer readily admits), the concept holds some potential and it merits expansion and further development.
