Giftube is a lot like a YouTube for for animated GIFs. You can use Giftube, which is essentially search engine, in a variety of ways.
You can upload your GIFs, search for GIFs, comment on GIFs, and share them with your friends. To search for a GIF, you can enter in a keyword, browse by category (Funny, Famous, Sport, or Cartoon), or use the tag cloud. Additionally, on the main page, you'll see GIFs organized by date of submission, featured GIFs, and popularity.
If you find a GIF you like, you can comment on it and/or embed it in your homepage, blog, social network, etc.

It would be great if Giftube also had a voting component; right now you can only comment on videos; do they plan on adding any sort of Digg-like voting mechanism?

| You need to get out more and visit the intrawebs . Bandwidth cost means long gone are the days of the spinning fireman or dancing chicken. These days GIFS are being used everywhere : avatars, signatures, social networks profile, comments pages.... | ||

| I don't see this site taking off, they are almost 15yrs to late. Had they come out with this in the mid to late '90s when GIFs were the in thing to do for a web site; then and only then could I have seen this taking off. | ||
