    GetSatisfaction.com - Customer Service Goes 2.0

    getsatisfaction

GetSatisfaction has one simple goal in mind: your satisfaction. The premise banks on the fact that people buy products, they use products, and at one point or another there’s something left to be wanted. GetSatisfication aims to resolve that by providing a direct link between the customer and the companies that provide the products. Thus companies can use the site to get feedback, to bounce around ideas, and to support their customers, who in turn, can ask questions, start conversations and voice their opinions. It’s a new take on customer service. It also provides users with a means to help their fellow community members by pooling their knowledge. If someone doesn’t know about one company’s shipping prices, another person might; or if one fellow can’t seem to embed a jpeg in x program, there’s likely someone out there who does know how.

    In their own words

“Get Satisfaction is a place where people can get the most from the products they use, and where companies are encouraged to get real with their customers.

Ask a question, report a problem, share an idea, or join in conversations already in progress. The most useful replies rise to the top. We’ll notify you via email when people respond.”

Why it might be a killer

GetSatisfaction is actually a fresh and compelling idea, which aims to improve customer service and communication between customers and companies. It offers a transparent, open forum for free discussion and conversation. It’s a great way for customers to get what they need.

    Some questions

Are posts screened in any way? How many companies actually participate here?
