In their own words
"Findmore.ca is helping to create the social web by offering an easy to use, free online
community service to allow users to trade their items, meet others, find an apartment, find a job, share their opinion and much more!
Like you we were fans of eBay and Craigslist, but found the former to be limiting and expensive, while the latter was missing key features to really deliver a proper public service. Our over-arching goal is to provide a more local classified service in Canada".
Why it might be a killer
Findmore could be a great tool for Canadians who want a classified website that only operates in Canada; the site does a good job of keeping it local with its "Calendar" section, where users can post or search for events in their area.
Some questions
The site has a ways to go before it reaches its claim of being a combination of eBay and Craigslist; the site isn't even ranked on Alexa yet. It's unclear whether users can buy or sell items, or only trade; which exchange options are available? The interface is somewhat mismatched and jumbled; could they clean it up a bit?
