Favebot.com which is short for favorite robot is a robot that tracks down your interests on the web. Register with Favebot.com and get continuous information on topics that interest you. Once you register you create a list of the topics you want to follow, they can be any thing from your favorite musician or actor, to books. You can get information on new books published by your favorite author, or new albums released by your favorite group. Type in the term you are searching for, such as “ Toni Morrison” they you click where you want your bot to search for the information. Your bot can search in a number of different areas, such as; blogs, books, DVDs, Events, Music, News, Photos, Podcasts, and Videos. Favbot.com has a pleasant interface, the purple background is easy on the eyes. The site is easy to navigate and gives a good deal of information on how the site functions. Favbot.com includes screen shots which give you a visual of how you can set the topics you want to track. Being able to track events in your area is a nice extra feature that most bots do not do. Your bot checks your terms daily so you will get the most recent information.
