ePetwork is exactly what its name implies; a social network for pets and pet lovers. On this site, which works like most other social networks, you can upload a photo and create a personal profile for your domesticated counterpart, and for yourself.

Of course, you can do all the requisite social network tasks; you can enter in personal information, create a pet family tree, comment on others' profiles, etc. The site also features some extra toys though; in addition to just browsing through profiles and communicating with other pet lovers, you can also watch pet-related videos, discuss pet issues in the forum, participate in the site's chat, or browse through ePetwork's photo galleries.

ePetwork is a little more polished had has more features than competitor Fuzzster; you have the option of contacting the pet's owner through the pet's profile page, for example. The personal profiles come with many fields you can use to enter in information about your pet; you can even specify your pet's favorite foods and tricks.

Is there really a large market for social networks geared toward pets? If there isn't, then sites like ePetwork are kind of futile, and if there is, there are too many competitors for ePetwork to keep up with up unless it adds some really unique features. That being said, what new and different options can a pet social network offer? The genre itself is inherently limiting in possibilities.
