They say an elephant never forgets, its about time somebody came up with that clever metaphor for a data storage company. Kudos to the ad team at ElephantDrive.com who also added that its big and it works for peanuts to illustrate how much storage you can use and how little it costs. The smallest plan is free if you are looking to store anything less than 1 GB, the next step up saves 100 GBs for only $10 a month, and a whopping 1 TB of space for $35 a month. Some information is too valuable to keep on the computer, if it crashes you may lose everything. At first this was mostly for big companies, but now with it becoming so affordable, it is for average consumers as well.

What We Do...
ElephantDrive is committed to providing individuals and businesses simple but powerful tools for protecting and accessing their data. We want ordinary people to enjoy the peace of mind that comes from the type of enterprise-class backup, storage, and data management that has historically only been available to big corporations. And we've made it so simple.

Now that these services can be free or as low as $10 a month, many people that wouldn't have bothered to save their data externally are vastly broadening the market. The Alexa Ranking that they are boasting illustrates that they are working their way up in the popularity ranks quickly.

With so many different companies offering the same service as this for roughly the same price will ElephantDrive.com be able to differentiate itself enought to truly be lucrative?

| Well, it seems you have not made any comparisons with other online storage and backup services. There are some better service providers that offer great client software and website, very easy to use, automatic backup, folder synchronization, security, etc. For more detailed review, please visit:http://backupreview.googlepages.com/default.htmlhttp://ftpreview.googlepages.com/index.html | ||

| I've tried a bunch of these services and ElephantDrive was by far the simplest interface. Also, I've got the Home Edition, which is for unlimited storage, not jsut a few hundred GBs. I only have about 85 GB stored, but I was referred by a friend who has 400 GB and counting and says they have been great. | ||
