Being just enamored with languages I can’t help but check out each and every dictionary that surfaces, even if they don’t offer anything radically different from what has come before. The thing is, it is always good to play it safe and have at least two or three bookmarked in case something happens to your best-loved one and you need to get that English class assignment ready by tomorrow morning.





This one is a good alternative to keep in mind to me. It is called Dictie, and it will let you look up meanings, references and synonyms with a minimum of fuss. In addition to that, it will enable you to translate texts in an equally effortless way – you simply cut and paste what you want translated and press enter.

Finally, a “Make It Say” functionality is also provided. This will be something that will appeal to foreign students the most, but also many native American speakers could use it every now and then.
