dayZLoop is an informative, positive, and polished site for teen girls. Everyday features a new “channel,” or topic, that is conveyed via a video segment, podcast, and online forum. These channels include “deco” (interior design and environment), “subciety” (local and international society), “life-mode” (lifestyle), “shine” (spirituality and self), “e-topia” (entertainment), and “cash-flow” (money and finance). Each segment features two female teen hosts that walk the viewer through a weekly topic. Guests and industry insiders are also profiled. Finally, the site is a social network to connect other teen girls together.

I first need to give the site kudos for including money and finance as a weekly topic. So often it is considered unimportant for woman in general to learn about this, so to teach teen girls the importance of savings is really a noble (and practical) decision. The truly meaningful, interesting, and un-stereotypical content on the site is what makes it stand out from other teen portals, and what should allow dayZLoop to attract quality sponsors.

Is there a way for parents to get more information? Without creating a user account, it is difficult to get a total sense of the topics up for discussion. While it would be an invasion of privacy to publish or publicly display the discussions, perhaps if the agenda for the week/day were available to view it would put nervous parents at ease.
