Collactive.com - Digg This on Steroids

    collactive

Perhaps you remember Collactive back when they were Blue Frog, the superhero service out to block spammers. In May of 2006, spammers decided to fight back, and as the story sometimes goes, the good guys finished last. After Israeli-based Blue Security abandoned Blue Frog, they decided not to let it bum them out, so they created Collactive, a kind of Digg on steroids. After submitting your story to Digg, Reddit, or nearly any social bookmarking website, you then create an APB on Collactive. You then link the page via a widget you can install in your blog or emailing it to your friends. Then they will be directed to vote or simply be redirected to the page so their view will be tallied. Basically the site functions as a means in which to get your stories to the top of your choice social bookmarking sites.

    In their own words

Â"We"ve built three things to help you: the Collactive APB System to get the word out, the Collactive Web Assistant to get your friends and supporters quickly and easily registered to take action on your APB, and a state-of-the-art Collactive back end that puts it all together. A Collactive APB sends your friends and supporters to a simple-to-use action page and makes it easy to take that action.Â"
