The site host nowadays over 64,000 sites, which have collected almost 412,000,000 visits in total. Caringbridge is a non profit organization, so its income comes, in its majority, directly from the thankful families which use their services, and a small fraction from healthcare sponsors. The people involved in the site work totally as sponsors, helping maintaining the site effective and 100% free.

    Some questions

    If the site relies solely on their donors good faith, aren’t they at their constant mercy for the running of their site? Shouldn’t they at least have one important sponsor to sustain their organization?
