BigTent.com provides four ways for users to get acquainted with the tools and functions of the community. Users can either sign up for a live demo tour where a live person will show them the features of the site. Users can take a look at the big benefits and see the most crucial points of the community tools. Users can go to the online features tour that is divided into a leaders and members section, or they can go to the features list where they can get definitions of all of the features. BigTent.com has many screen shots of the features and of other organizations that have used Big Tent. BigTent.com has all that an organization could want for a social network.
Having to apply to use Big Tent may deter many organizations from using the community tools. It would also be nice if the tours were available more frequently so that more people could see them.
