    BetterTheWorld.com - Advertisements With A Difference

    bettertheworld

Better The World is a new platform that will let anybody support any cause he finds worthwhile just by browsing the WWW. That is, users download a sidebar that will be employed to display relevant ads while they are surfing the web.

This sidebar is available both to Firefox and Internet Explorer users, and charities spanning the whole world have partnered with the company in order to give users everywhere many options to choose from.

Some of the causes that were featured on the main page when I last checked out included “Ending AIDS through research” and “Building hope, one house at a time”. You can also see the most recent members on the opening screen – almost 1,000 individuals from all over the globe have already signed up. Besides, you can always visualize the amount that has been accrued for charity so far.

The company itself adheres to a 90/10 policy which means that 90 % of the income that is generated goes straight to charities, whereas the remaining 10 % is used to subsidize its operations.

All in all, a very suitable way of browsing the web and offering your support to any cause you feel worth championing. Just drop by the site if you feel like knowing more.

    In their own words

“Surf the web. Save the world.”

Why it might be a killer

It is a very well-thought way of raising money for any cause, in an effortless manner.

    Some questions

Will other browsers be eventually supported besides Firefox and Internet Explorer?
