Digg clones seem to be developing with a speed and pervasiveness akin to breeding rabbits. Here we have yet another Digg-esque site called BayStrip which is dedicated to the spread of financial news bits. Unlike its predecessor, Baystrip only has a vote up function, which means articles cannot be sunk and buried. The site does enable commenting, however, all site interaction (voting, commenting, submitting stories) requires registration. Stories are categorized by newest, top, and most popular sites (which seems to imply most favored sources as opposed to actual news items). Clicking on the link entitled 'More' brings up top stories by source e.g. Forbes, MarketWatch and MSN. To switch gears, you'll find Popular, Market and Canadian News at the top; by clicking on any one of these categories, you'll get a more focused set of news items.

BayStrip does aggregate business and financial use, thus making it easier for interested parties to peruse without having to venture onto 40 other sites. It's pretty clear cut, and very easy to use.

This site definitely has that raw feel to it. Some fixes are in order: clicking on the Baystrip logo does not take you back to the main page, which is a hassle, there's not really a community feel, there aren't many features, the design is very rough, and it basically looks like a list of headlines, and not much else.
