Autopendium.co.uk - Classic Cars Web 2.0 Style

Autopendium is a website for people with old cars. It's a place for people like us to share information (stories, tips, anecdotes, facts and photos), and it's a place to keep track of our own cars, while letting other people know about them too. Vintage cars, race cars, classic cars, important prototypes and run-of-the-mill bangers, historic and hop-up -- if you've got a car and it's over 20 years old.

This niche user generated content site is looking great so far, with lots of content already to jump start this startup. The design is neat, easy to navigate, and jumps quickly between pages. It’s interesting, since the founder of the website decided to code the entire thing himself, though he has no personal experience or training. It also seems to me that commenting activity on the site is progressing nicely. With active users and a little more site design, this startup could have some potential.

It might do the site good to hire some programmers to put in some more web 2.0 features. Could they put in some social networking features so that the classic car fanatics could build profiles of them and their cars, and get to know others like them?
