    Actics.com - Live A More Ethical Life

Do you find it hard to live by and follow your ethics? Would you like some support and suggestions on how you or your company can be ethical? Actics.com is a site that could help you.

Actics.com is supported by Actics Ltd., an English/Danish startup company of social entrepreneurs who have a goals to make ethics a priority in individuals and companies actions. Actics.com provides a system that helps you state your ethical values and how you carry them out with your actions. You then receive feedback from your proxies(friends and family) along with advice and an Actics number which is the current average feedback from your proxies. To get started you must become a member and create a profile page. On your profile page you list the three ethics that are most important to you. Your proxies can send you ethical actions, which are suggested actions you should make to live your life in a more ethical manner. For example, if one of your ethics is to focus on animal rights, a proxy might suggest you become a vegetarian or that you never buy fur coats. You can learn more about Actics.com by looking at the most popular values and actions or browsing through members by values. Living an ethical life is something that is frequently overlooked. Hopefully sites like Actics.com will help refocus society's attention on what is important.

"Actics is about turning ethics into action through feedback from those your ethics concern.

From its very conception Actics was meant to:

    1. Make ethics concrete

    2. Help agents navigate between demands from multiple different stakeholders.

    3. Measure agents against their own values instead of detached universal codes and thus making general benchmarking meaningful."

    Some questions about Actics.com/

Actics.com has a nominees section that is not currently available. What will the nominees section feature? Actics.com could include groups that members could create focused on certain ethics or actions. In fact members should be able to collaborate on creating organizations or ideas that they could realize offline together.
