A.nnotate.com lets several people annotate the same document or web page with tags and notes. They can reply to each others notes and hold a discussion about any part of the text. All marked text is included in an index for each document and each user making it easy to keep track of feedback from multiple readers on a particular draft of a document. A.nnotate makes it easy to enable annotation on your website. You can just slot in our ready-made buttons and sample HTML. Depending how you configure it, you can encourage people to snapshot your page for their own records or host an open discussion on your site. The A.nnotate API lets you programmatically upload documents, set initial tags and fetch the annotations created by users for subsequent processing.
