LiveCurrent, ‘owns and operates some of the most engaging content and commerce destinations on the internet’. Their aim is to expand their brand by using social media to created DestinationHubs, platforms for passionate communities to come together, interact and discover more about the things they love and care about. A DestinationHub, according to the site, is characterized by four main attributes: it’s built around a pre-existing community, it’s built for discovery, it’s architected for cross platform portability, and it’s geared to make money. Currently they’ve got one DestinationHub in the works, which revolves around Perfume.com. Other sites include Cricket.com, Importers.com, Brazil.com, and Malaysia.com.
