Zoeybot is a virtual desktop for kids aged 7-13. The interface is easy to navigate, as its geared for kids. There’s a red faced robot in the left hand corner, keeping an eye out on the kids it appears. All content is pulled in from Wikipedia. At the top of the desktop, there are several different functionalities. There’s a chat tool, allowing kids to chat with ZoeyBot, or Zoey for short. There’s a search bar as well as a music player. You’ve got ZoeyBot news announcing new features on the site. Plus there’s email and a help section. The desktop is fully animated and all searches and tutorials are, of course, kid friendly and safe. ZoeyBot can be used in homes as well as classrooms. It has a built in search engine, dictionary and spell checker. It’s got instant access to images and videos as well. ZoeyBot is free too.
