Online storage services are a dime a dozen. Which one is the best? Yuntaa would like to think it is. This Belgian company backs up your data on secure and safe servers; they use the same security measurements that the world’s most powerful governments use. Yuntaa has sharing capabilities; it lets you share your files with any number of friends. There are extra tools for organizing music and photos—photo album, slideshow manager, audio playlists and you’ll even get a personal Yuntaa blog. Stream your videos, send links to your files to your buds, and get organized with Yuntaa’s Video Manager, easily accessed via the Yuntaa Desktop. Customize your desktop however you like. Free accounts allow 1GB of storage space. Paid accounts start at 20 euros for 5GB for a duration of 90 days; an Ambroisaa account is 60 euros and the duration is one year. Eurphoriaa accounts can be customized however you like.

“Yuntaa™ means alternative. An alternative way to backup, store, share and access everything you have on your computer today. We created Yuntaa™ so that you will have an alternative way to work with all the stuff you have on your computer and do so much more with it than you could if it stayed where it was today. And all this using one simple tool.”

As an increasing amount of media is collected on our PC’s storage becomes a major question. Some people use CD’s or external drives. These of course are liable to get lost or damaged. Online storage, o the other hand means you’ll get access whenever and wherever. Your files are more secure and they can be shared and organized. Yuntaa is secure and it doesn’t lack in features. Sharing capabilities are unlimited and their management tools are easy enough for anyone to use.

Yuntaa is entering a heavily saturated space. There are so many similar online storage and back up services, it’s hard to distinguish between them. Will users find the 5GB, 90 day storage option for 20 euros pricey? Are the management tools as intuitive as Yuntaa claims? How good is the support?

| Not sure what the guy above is smoking (crack maybe?) but I found Yuntaa to be a very nice and reliable service. I think he probably works for onlinevaultbackup and is a little scared of the competition(?)Anyways, Yuntaa is online backup for sure but they also have a lot of other nice things that come with it. Unlike Mozy or Carbonite, you can actually do something with your backups instead of just keeping them in isolation. But unlike Google docs or Skydrive (which are online storage) you actually have a solid backup from Yuntaa and versioning, etc. They're definitely a late comer to the market, but that mean they learned from everyone else's mistakes. I think it's a solid product and I'm very happy with the service. | ||

| what the heck is a yunta? wierd name for a new service...im scared of foreign sounding things...i rather stick with a nice stable service with redundant services like www.onlinebackupvault.com yunta sounds like that car they had in 70's 80's that always broke the YuGo...anyway.. my 2 cents.... i rather have my buisness data on a real company with secure redundant offsite servers.. i rather pay for a solid service than look for the cheapest solution..u guys agree? | ||
