Are your website images looking rather shabby and uninteresting? If that’s the case, there’s LightView to help you make your site dazzle. You do not need to know CSS to use LightView, so don’t be afraid to give it a go. Here’s a quick run down of how it works: upload your images and add lightview.css to your header. You’ll need Prototype 1.6 and Scriptaculous 1.8 for effects. Once installed, you’ll have a number of options that you can change including: border, overlay, radius, transition, effects, background color and viewport. There’s an inbuilt slideshow function too. Images are preloaded when you’re viewing a set, so you’ll have quick and easy access. LightView works on most browsers.
