Writer has that olden days look—none of that wacky 2.0 stuff can be found anywhere near Writer. It’s got a simple black background with bright lime green lettering. To use it, just start typing. Writer will save your work automatically using cookies. Click on ‘new’ to save your current document and start another. There are two keyboard shortcuts, one for saving docs, and one for opening new ones.
