Wiredness.com - An Easy to Use Online Photo Editor

Wiredness is an online photo editor. You can upload your pics or get them from any URL and manipulate them. There´s a red eye corrector, you can re-size, emboss, add text, colorize, and blur, among other things. Images hosted from Glowfoto.com and ImageShack are easily imported. The site is simple and self-explanatory. There´s no registration required and it´s free to use.

“The Wiredness system includes a simple API which allows other web applications to pass through the information for an image. This will allow the user to modify that image using the Wiredness system and then save that image back to the calling web application. They can also chose to cancel the modification at any time and it will return them to your site with the original unmodified image.”

Wiredness is straight-forward, you needn´t possess any advanced technical know-how to use it. It´s got some nice tools and effects that should suffice for normal photo editing.

The site doesn´t offer much in the way of help. There are no ads, so I don´t see how it will be able to support itself, being free. Also there are other similar sites that offer more features, how will it compete? Will they add picture sharing capabilities?
