Whatpage.org - Rotating Home Page Tool

Those of you who like to change things up periodically and expose yourselves to new things might get a kick out of whatpage.org, which is a little application that you can set up to change your homepage every day.

Simply go to whatpage.org, register, and then enter as many URL’s as you like, keeping in mind that each of these will at some point be your temporary homepage. Whatpage simply rotates through the URL’s that you have chosen and picks a new one each day to display as your home page. After you’ve selected which web pages you’d like to include in your rotation, simply make whatpage.org your home page, and let it take care of adding a bit of variety to your life.

“Setup your favorite pages. Set your "whatpage link" to be your homepage in your browser. A different one of your favorite pages is shown each time you open your browser, or hit your browsers "home" button. A new use for that "home" button in your browser, use it to browse through your favorite websites. Always free!”

This is a pretty original idea, albeit one with little in the way of any real utility. It’s a fun concept that people might use to change up their browsing each day.

Have they considered adding a completely random function to this site a la “I feel lucky” from Google? It might be more fun to have a completely random home page instead of one’s you’ve intentionally selected. Have they thought about offering pre-populated rotations? One such rotation could be homepages that generate revenues for charities for example.
