    Webmynd.com - Complete Web History

    webmynd

Are you looking for a better way to organize and remember the sites that you visit so that you can find them again without any problems? Bookmarks are one solution but they often become difficult to keep track of them as well as you add more and more data. Webmynd refers to its service as the TiVo of the web and this is a good way of thinking about how it works. Webmynd is a Firefox toolbar and once you’ve downloaded it, you will be able to easily recall all of the sites you’ve visited in a nice graphic form. You can also access these pages offline and as you use it more, you will even get better Google search results as webmynd will recognize when you are searching for something you’ve seen before and give you those results as well.

    In their own words

“Never bookmark or save a page again. WebMynd remembers everything for you by automatically recording a visual browsing history. You can access every page you have ever been to when offline, as well as searching them online!! It's a 'TiVo for the web'.”

Why it might be a killer

This product will especially appeal to internet researchers and to others who spend a lot of time working on the web. The visual display of all the pages visit is clear and well-organized which should make this a popular tool.

    Some questions

As with other similar free services, one would have to assume that the business model will be to somehow monetize the information that you are saving on WebMynd’s servers. Will people mind sharing there browsing history with someone they don’t know?
