VoiceThread.com - Capture Voices

VoiceThread allows you to give voice to your images. They´re a way to save the stories of each person in a photo through their unique voices and way of expressing themselves. You can take a picture of your class from 5th grade and vocally capture what each person thinks of when they see the picture, or what was going through their mind at the time. Currently you can have up to 28 people comment on a single picture, and you can have up to 80 pictures or pages in one VoiceThread.

Being able to save the memory of a loved one in a new way that allows you to hear their voice and be able to save it on a site, so that you don´t have to worry about lost video camera copies is something people will love. Being able to give the voice of each individual student a say so that they can hear it later on and let them express their pride in their accomplishments is also a great tool for teachers and classrooms. There are several aspects to the site that are easily marketable, such as microphones and possibly increasing the amount of images and voices you can include.

Will people want to sit down and take the time to record all of the voices of people from images, having to deal with microphones and getting the picture participants together?
