Uthink.co.nz - Say What You Think

    uthink

Dying to have a philosophical debate but none of your friends will indulge you? Do you feel like voicing your opinion regarding the latest Britney debacle? Uthink is the forum for you. The site allows you to start or join any debate, personal viewpoint or random train of thought that you come across. Everything is user-submitted and censored. Categorized topics range from entertainment to politics to travel, although no subject is off-limits. There are also regular channels where authors routinely write on specific themes. The site is totally free and promises to stay that way.

    In their own words

“You can start your own topic for discussion or you can comment on topics or comments of others. uthink uses state-of-the-art computer technologies and modern interface designs to make your job as easy as possible. Have a go. You won’t believe how simple it is.”

Why it might be a killer

Uthink is already a full and bustling forum, although primarily made up of New Zealanders. They apparently have something right- the uthink community appears to be very active and involved (there are tons of daily posts and quite a few have comments). So, as the service gains popularity in other regions, expect to hear more and more buzz.

    Some questions

How turned off will a global audience be if much of the subject matter deals with local (ie, New Zealand) politics and culture? They could feel alienated and driven to other similar “post your thoughts” websites.
