US4Real.com - Color Coded Mapping of Residential Areas

With US4Real.com you can zero in on an aeral view of certain areas within the US and then search for current market listing of homes in those areas. But that in itself isn't anything new there are many companies offering that service; what is new and interesting about US4Real.com is that when you are looking at the area map, there are certain tabs at the bottom that you can click on that will cause little color coded balloons to show up on the map to illustrate the higher or lower end of the statistic that you have selected. The categories that you can select from are Cost of Living, Income, Bang for the Buck, Schools, Unemployment, Crime, Sex Offenders, Traffic, Price and Alerts, all of which are clearly important criteria if you are looking to move to a new area. Once you have found your favorite city, you can "Zoom In" and search for homes or apartments in the area. You can compare the property prices by clicking on the "Price" link below the map.

This can be a useful tool for those who want to research specific areas with the criteria that is given on the site, which does cover quite a bit of the most common questions that would need to be answered before moving to a new town.

There are a few ticks with the program, I was tweaking some search criteria in the San Franciso Bay Area and the site stated that "There are no listings in this are currently." For some reason I find that a bit hard to believe. This kind of thing might stray people away from using this site as a legitmate source for information. If something like that is skewed who knows what else is?
