It seems there is not such a thing as an app that is too simple or small. This website seems to support that point of view. It provides a very straightforward service that some might deem as superfluous, whereas I have no doubts that others will find some uses for it.

The nuts and bolts of this site are as follows: you are provided with a box for cutting and pasting any string of text that you wish, and then hit the button labeled “Save txt”. Upon doing so, a shot URL with your text will be generated. You can put it around in the usual ways, including Twitter and any other messaging service.

That’s it. No need to register, disclose information of any type, or pay anything for that matter. You can question how useful this really is, but you can never complain about Txtb.in being a complicated tool to get to grips with or put into practice. If you can browse the web you can use it without the slightest hitch along the way.
