Twitterratio is a fun little application that allows you to easily calculate a ration of the number of followers you have to the number who follow you. The idea is that the higher your ratio of follower to following, the more respected you are. A ratio of less than 1.0 indicates that you are seeking knowledge and friends but not getting much love in return. 2.0 or above, shows that you are a popular person and people want to hear what you have to say. A ration of above 10 essentially shows that you are a master that everyone follows because you are worth listening to, or it could mean that you don’t care about anyone else. So, if you can’t compare the number of followers and friends you have by simply looking at the numbers, try out twitterratio.

In their own words
“Your Twitter Ratio is the ratio of your followers to friends (or people who you follow). It is measured with the TFF Ratio (Twitter Follower-Friend Ratio). The higher the ratio, the more Twitter heat you pack.”
Why it might be a killer
People could use this little tool to gauge who the most influential people are on Twitter. Since Twitter is so popular these days, it would also give an increasingly accurate view of someone’s general influence on society.
Some questions
Is anyone actually going to bother using this? People can eyeball their own stats pretty easily to get a rough estimate of this ratio or they could simply divide followed by following with their calculator.
