Twittd.NodeHub.com - Twitter Through IM

Finally, somebody found the way to incorporate Twitter with instant messaging. Twitter might have slept on the concept, but the folks over at Twittd.nodehub.com have come up with the way to let you twit while you are chatting with your friends. Just add the bot corresponding to the IM service you use. Once you do this, the bot will ask you for your username and password for Twitter. After you do this, you’ll be on your way to sharing with every one of your friends through an IM window. You’ll also be able to get updates from your friends. This will allow you to completely avoid the Twitter site. Privacy freaks should not freak out about this service. All of your passwords are completely safe, and if you don’t want the service anymore, just tell the bot to forget you. Keep in mind that the service is open beta, so it might not work smoothly at times.

This is something that should’ve been done a long time ago. While the bot concept is interesting, there is still a long way to go to finally incorporate Twitter into all IM services.
