TwitBin is a Firefox extension for Twitter. It becomes your side bar, allowing you to easily send and receive your Twitter messages without ever having to go to the main Twitter screen or leave the page you are currently browsing. You can choose to receive the messages from the public, or just from your friends. You can also select how frequently you want it to be refreshed at either one, five, or ten minute intervals. Sign up is easy because you don´t need to create a separate account to use it. All you need is your Twitter account information and you´re good to go.

It´s another easy application for you to make life with Twitter simpler and quicker. Firefox can be used by any kind of web user and is the web browser of choice, so there´s a large group of people available to benefit from it. They make a profit just from small ads at the bottom of the bar.

When I try to sign in, it wont let me after trying several times. Is that just me, or is it a problem with TwitBin in general? Will people turn to TwitBin or other Twitter extensions, possibly choosing something that doesn´t take up so much of their screen as the side bar?
