TweetLater.com - Tweet into the Future

    tweetlater

If you’re really into keeping up your Twitter account, even if you’re offline, TweetLater lets you create tweets scheduled for the future. Your Twitter stream will be constantly flowing. Here’s an example. Let’s say you’re on a long overhaul flight to Australia; this means you’ll be without your computer for at least some 10 hours, most likely more. Rather than leaving Twitter so woefully unattended, you can keep your tweets a-going by inputting them before you leave. For instance you could try, ‘I’m in the air, hoping this plane doesn’t crash, or ‘the food up here is terrible’. Or, you can use TweetLater as a reminder system—input tweets reminding you to buy a birthday present or milk. You can schedule a maximum of 12 tweets for any 60 minute period.

    In their own words

“Stuck on an aircraft? Back to back meetings? Taking vacation? Running errands? Playing with the kids?
Keep your Twitter stream ticking over with new tweets even when you're not in front of your computer. Or, use it as your personal reminder system.”

Why it might be a killer

TweetLater is great for those who absolutely keen on Twitter, those who can’t manage without it. It keeps their Twitter stream alive and healthy. Besides being able to fill in airtime, TweetLater is actually a quite handy reminder tool.

    Some questions

Will people actually use this? Does it work from a cell phone? How is TweetLater going to earn a profit?
