    Trakzor.com - Track Friends Now

    trakzor

Want to see who visits your MySpace? See when they visit? See where they’re from?

Then visit Trakzor.com. Trakzor is a MySpace tracker, a tool that lets you track all the visits to your MySpace page. It is available to anyone who uses MySpace. Installation is free and easy. All you have to do is place an image on your MySpace profile, with a link or two, and you're ready to go. You'll be able to see when someone visits your profile, where they are from, and if that person has already registered at Trakzor, you'll be able to identify that person specifically. But Trakzor can’t identify everyone. It doesn’t tell you everyone who visits, but it gives you some matches and also enough information to make reasonable estimates as to who the others are. In addition, you can identify your “unknowns” by referencing your Trakzor visit times against your comment and message times on MySpace. Those people will then be identified whenever that person visits your page. They’ve also added a new map feature where you can see where your visitors are from on a Google map. Also, Trakzor archives all your previous stats, allowing you to track your progress over time. And for those who feel uncomfortable about being tracked in this way, you can set up a “block list” of users who won’t be able to see your visits.

    In their own words

“Trakzor is a community driven MySpace Tracker that is available to anyone and everyone on MySpace. Installation is free and easy. You can be up and tracking your profile guests in minutes! See where your visitors are from, including Unknowns. We even display them for you on an interactive map! Identify Unknown users as the same person every time they come. New administrative features to help you better manage your account and your tracking records. Quite a bit more, including this new layout!”

Why it might be a killer

These tools are fairly popular on MySpace. People can see who, when and where their visitors are from. The information is presented in easy to use formats. Besides, it provides an additional layer of security for MySpacers.

    Some questions

MySpace isn’t always happy with the way these services operate and can shut them down by blocking the embed code. Is this form of tracking visitors going to make a huge impact? Will Trakzor support other social networking sites like Bebo, Friendster, hi5, and Xanga in addition to MySpace? Will they offer advanced stat tracking for a fee?
