Exactly how much information is too much information for tweets on Twitter? TooMuchTweet aims to bring out those freaky details and collect them into one space using the reasoning that the people who most likely see those tweets were the ones who decided to follow you in the first place. They want users to send one tweet to too_much each day, so that everyone can enjoy in the comedy of too much information.

So far the tweets on the board seem pretty tame, but one that stood out and seems to be the kind of content they are aiming for is “Nothing like a surprise puddle of my dog’s urine to keep me on my toes in the morning.” It will be interesting to see how this site evolves as more people join up to post all of the kinds of comments you don’t expect to hear from your random internet friends.

The site is designed well and it’s definitely entertaining reading the tweets that go all out and say the kinds of things you’d expect from such a site. This could be a good place for people to advertise that are trying to appeal to this demographic, since if the content builds up enough, I could see people spending time reading through the posts.

How are they going to build the content so that the tweets being sent are actually worth scrolling through and not just basic comments like “Take a break and enjoy the sun”? Could they make a way for people to choose a user posting to the site and view all of their previous tweets to TooMuchTweet?
