There are a good number of screenshot tools out there on the web. Some are pretty basic, while others are more intricate, but also more costly. Now we’ve got Webkut. Unlike the other screenshot tools out there, WebKut is built on Adobe Air. It’s an Air app which lets you capture bits and pieces of the web in a very simple, straight forward manner. You’ve got in total three options to work with: one, you can do an entire page screenshot, or two, you can only capture the current view (and not the extraneous navigation buttons and bars), or thirdly and finally, you can choose to shoot only a small section of the screen. You can move and resize any crop area; you can also post to flickr. Installation is quick as the app is rather light. The max dimension for an image is 2880 pixels. On Windows, you may notice some blanks where PDF and some Flash elements should be. Other than that, it works pretty well. Check it out, and remember it’s free.

WebKut is sleek, it’s minimalistic. It’s light. It’s easy to use. Compared to your more costly screenshot tools, this is quite practically and robust. It works well.
