Any individual or business that needs to track time for clients but is reluctant to shell out premium prices for traditional timeslip software should check out Toggl. Toggl is a free online application that allows users to track time. The program organizes timeslips by clients, their tasks, and participants, and has the technology to produce reports based off of the information. The interface is simple to navigate- the user simply lists a client, specifies a task, and “toggles” a switch icon to start tracking time. The application can be displayed either in the browser or can be downloaded to the desktop. If more functionality is sought, Toggl offers a premium, fee-based program.
