In their own words
“TimeMachiner is a new mini-app that lets you email people in the future. Use it to remind yourself to do something that you’ll more than likely forget, keep your future self on the straight and narrow, even wish your friends happy birthday... the possibilities are endless!”
Why it might be a killer
Microsoft Outlook and some other programs already have tools for setting emails to be sent in the future. TimeMachiner.com brings this service to anyone on the web, regardless of what email program they use. It’s easy to imagine all sorts of potential uses for this program, and that fact it’s free, simple, and there’s no registration required will help attract new users.
Some questions
TimeMachiner doesn’t require registration or even ask you for your name or email address when you send an email. Will some users abuse this and pretend to be someone else, or use TimeMachiner to send anonymous emails? Could the site at least add an optional account feature, so interested users could log in and see their sent messages, edit a scheduled email, etc.?
