Twitpress is a downloadable WordPress plug-in that allows bloggers to notify all of their Twitter followers when they have made a new blog entry or when they have edited an already existing one. Simply download the plug-in, enter your twitter username and password into the Twitpress menu in the WordPress manager menu, and then define the tweet that you would like to send to your followers when you post something new.

Are there any plans to monetize this project? It is currently free which isn’t much of a surprise but it is difficult to see where they could plug in advertising to create a functioning business model.
