In their own words
“With Thinkature, you can create a collaborative workspace and invite coworkers, friends, and colleagues to join you in just seconds. Once inside your workspace, you can communicate by chatting, drawing, creating cards, and adding content from around the Internet. It"s all synchronous, too - no need to hit reload or get an editing lock.
Why it might be a killer
These days internet users are looking for user-friendly ways to collaborate on projects without investing money or time in highly-technical file-sharing systems. Thinkature has aesthetic appeal and is highly practical. As it is free of cost, it should be very popular and will attract sponsors. It could potentially develop subscriber-only versions with more advanced options.
Some questions
There is plenty of competition in the area of online workspaces (such as Concepshare, which is subscription-based), so Thinkature is gambling on users preferring their free and simple services over the other options out there. Will they be able to bring in a profit if their services remain free?
