Symfony can be installed easily with Windows or Unix providing you’ve already got PHP 5. It’s compatible with most database systems and it’s easy to learn. What’s more, it’s flexible for projects both small and complex. It’s aimed at enterprises so users have full control over configuration—directory structure, libraries, etc, can be customized to match your business. Besides that, it’s got smart urls, ajax support, scaffolding, cache management, object model and simple templating and helpers. Users can start right away and download the app, or they can browse projects in the guide book. Symfony is completely free and is published under the MIT license. Tutorials and books are available to help you get started.
