Spyk is a relatively new Aussie based startup that deals in property search. It’s a dynamic mashup of Microsoft’s Virtual Earth and different Australian real estate websites. To use, simply browse the map for available houses in the Aussie town of your choice, and then click on any of the little red houses that meet your fancy. A popup will appear with a photo if available as well as number bedrooms, bathrooms and car spaces. You can filter your search by property type, price, buy or rent, and suburb or postcode.

Spyk is a useful tool if you’re in Australia. It takes good advantage of Microsoft’s Virtual Earth and is easy to use. It doesn’t require a lot of web knowledge either.
