    SpringNote.com - Personal Online Notebook

SpringNote is a new web editor which pushes simplicity. Wiki-like in its capabilities, SpringNote uses OpenID authentication, which means there's no extra registration required for OpenID subscribers.

Users automatically are allotted 2GB of file storage space, for notes and pages. SpringNotes is also compatible with popular text extensions--.txt, .doc and .doc. Features include templates, paragraph titles, file attachment capabilities, lists, highlighting, colors, invitations for collaboration, memos, change history, smart search, bookmarks, and tree structures. It's basically an online notebook with some extra web 2.0 perks. It can be used for creating projects, for creating event pages, for research, or for simply jotting things down so you don't forget them. On the developer's side, SpringNote's API is open which means any interested parties can make mashups such as the SpringNote messenger bot, and ClipNote which allows for quick additions to your SpringNotes using copy and paste. SpringNote is web based so there's nothing to download, and it's free.

    Springnote.com In their own words

"Springnote, which has over taken WYSIWYG and is inclined to WYSIWYM, provides a very easy and intuitive editor.

Whereas most wikis have limitations because of formal grammar, editing documents is easy to learn with Springnote, even for the people who are using it for the first time. Also, for those who are familiar with the standard wiki, Springnote gives the advantage of being able to edit doc uments fast through keyboard shortcuts."

Why Springnote.com might be a killer

SpringNotes has a clean and fresh appeal. It's got the user-friendly req down what with its WYSIWYG editor, and its no install, no hassle approach. Even the tech clueless should be able to manage without suffering major setbacks.

    Some questions about Springnote.com

SpringNotes is essentially a browser version of Word or NotePad and it's pretty similar to GoogleNotebook, which means there's nothing really different on offer. Will it simply disappear into the dead pile? Will they add more useful features?
