Sporevote.com is actually a site that has been established to celebrate the launch of the EA/Maxis Spore Creature Creator which allows users to create their own customizable characters for the game Spore.

To create some hype around the launch of the creature creator, the folks at Spore contacted who they deemed to be 75 of the most creative innovators from around the world and asked them to create their own creature. Others are encouraged to go to Sporevote.com and pick which of these creative people has designed the best-looking Spore character. Criteria for selecting the best is based on creativity, originality and visual portrayal. The winner of the contest will receive a $15,000 prize.
