    Snipt.org - A Twitpic For Source Code

    snipt

Snipt is a new Twitter-related service that in places is reminiscent of Twitpic. You see, this new solution makes for sharing snippets of code among programmers. Through it, any such individual can upload source code and generate a short URL link for sharing it.

So far, more than a hundred programming languages are supported. These include C ++, Python, and a long etcetera. A really nice feature is that the code you send is colored according to the programming language itself, and this makes for things being instantly understandable.

At the end of the day, this new solution makes for sending pieces of code over the web a simple task. Just like anything that has to do with Twitter, actually. If you are a programmer, station your browser at the address provided below and see if it delivers the goods or not – but chances are you are going to like it. The same applies to those who need a bug fixed, don’t know how to do that themselves, and have access to the code somehow.

    In their own words

    “Share code snippets on Twitter.”

Why it might be a killer

It does what it sets out do in a concise way, making the sharing of code snippets an instant and agile task.

    Some questions

How can this service be expanded? What are its current shortcomings?
