Data can be tracked by category (for example; food, housing, and income) and date ranges. The program also contains an easy-to-use budgeting function, but sMoneybox assures that any function that is too complicated can be filtered according to user preference.

Creators could also make the “categories” tab more interactive; at this point it merely lists all of the spending/ earning categories without allowing users to click through to view individual entries.
